Provider Relations

FIND OUT IF YOU ARE A PARTICIPATING PROVIDER IN A MEDEX MANAGED MPN NETWORK.

CHOOSE FROM ONE OF THE FOLLOWING NETWORKS LISTED BELOW.

MEDEX Medical Provider Network (MPN): an exclusive network of providers dedicated to providing quality health care and helping injured employees get back to work.

The MEDEX MPN connects employers to quality providers who have been nominated by employers and claims administrators. We seek providers who render excellent care and who understand the workers' compensation system in California.

MEDEX offers a uniquely beneficial “HCO+MPN” program. As a certified Health Care Organization (HCO) and approved Medical Provider Network (MPN), MEDEX provides administration to take advantage of both programs. Employers are granted maximum medical control while employees gain quality medical treatment in the event of a work related injury.

Our clients are major employers who direct their injured employees to the limited, hand-selected providers in our network. Joining the MEDEX MPN will provide access to more patients to receive quality medical care while being assured of timely payment by a trusted partner in MEDEX.

We value all of our Clients, including our providers, which is why we contract 100% of the California Official Medical Fee Schedule.*

*However, you may have enrolled in a discounted PPO that our clients access.

If you are a provider, it is important that we stay connected. When joining or updating your information in our network we ask that you enter in your office email address.

Providing your office email address will allow us to quickly send over:

  • Forms
  • Annual MPN Participation Letter

Once every quarter we will email:

  • Requests to confirm and update your provider practice information for our client/patient portal
  • Educational updates in the workers’ compensation industry

Note From MEDEX: CCR-9785 Provides reporting requirements, for the primary treating physician - The primary treating physician is responsible for providing reports, including the PR4 and must provide to the claims administrators as specified.
