  • DIVISION OF WORKERS’ COMPENSATION (DWC):
    The DWC monitors the administration of workers’ compensation claims and provides administrative and judicial services to assist in resolving disputes that arise in connection with claims for workers’ compensation benefits.   • DWC Medical Unit:
    The Medical Unit performs a variety of services related to delivery of medical benefits in the workers’ compensation system. One of its responsibilities is to certify and oversee groups – medical provider networks (MPNs) and health care organizations (HCOs) -- that provide care to injured workers. (Click Here)

  • Commission on Health and Safety and Workers’ Compensation (CHWSC):
    CHSWC is a joint labor-management body created by the workers’ compensation reform legislation of 1993 and charged with overseeing the health and safety workers’ compensation systems in California, and recommending administrative and/or legislative modifications to improve their operation.
