R.N. Telephonic Case Manager - Workers' Compensation

MEDEX is actively seeking a part-time telephonic R.N. Case Manager to be located in our corporate office in Long Beach, CA.

Scope of Position:

Primary responsibility is telephonic case management for the Workers' Compensation HCO program. The candidate will telephonically monitor and coordinate Workers' Compensation medical care with providers, claims administrators, employers, and injured employees.

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:

  • R.N. with five (5) years clinical experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Team player, working well in a group environment
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Two (2) years experience in California Workers' Compensation claims environment
  • Two (2) years Quality Assurance/Utilization Review experience
  • Previous experience in California Workers' Compensation HCO environment
